i’m pretty excited about this pattern. i’ve been working on balance in pattern and yoga, and it’s coming along nicely i think. as usual i’m a sucker for the red background especially with some popping pink and blue. YUM. this design was inspired by the morning glory in my garden and everywhere else- i love the twisty twirlyness of it (except when it’s attacking my roses) and the bright blooms that greet the sun are so cheerful. we discovered that if you cut them they will rebloom in water the next day- and twist up at night. i would love to wear this pattern in a satin shirt- and while I’m wearing it i would sit in a chair upholstered in this design in velvet. i would do some sketching in my notebook covered in this pattern in linen. and i would be VERY happy.

here are also another couple of colorways i am playing around with… a bit more subdued, but not too much! the olive background i see as a wallcovering, while this one with the purple flowers I would definitely want to wear somehow.
