Quilts at the ROM

We had a seriously busy day today, and somehow we managed to squeeze in a couple of hours at the ROM (royal Ontario museum) this afternoon. A while ago I mentioned a pattern I designed based on the classic patchwork quilt tumbling blocks form and I promised to take a pic of it- here it is in all its glory. I could totally stare at it for hours. I want to make one. I also discovered there are drawers with other little gems – including this teensy quilt- I took a pic with the dime so you can see how impossibly small the patches are.
Here is one of my patterns inspired by quilts- in two colorways. I thought it would be fun and meta to make a quilt from them one day… Put it on the list!
